Interesting conclusion for 2012

As 2012 draws to a close, I thought I'd post one last conclusion for the year.

I believe it was Gordon Williamson who first pointed out the similarity of the Orth-design U-Boat eagle to Sam the Eagle from the Muppets.

Well, I just noticed that the Wilhelm Hobacher Minesweeper has a very similar eagle head. It's a toss-up to me as to which is the better match, but at any rate there's only one logical conclusion:
Jim Henson must have supplied working dies to both companies.
