    Tombak S&L Mnesweeper

    Guys,
Since it is quite rare I would like to share with you one of my recent additions - tombak S&L Minesweeper with classic S&L catch, variation 2.5.3 in the classification table. It is partialy denazified but still worth having due to rarity and well preserved finish showing exceptional beauty of early S&Ls.
    Cheers,
    Hubert

              Hi Hubert,

I love that badge, what with the great looking tone, is the kind of badge I would like in my collection. Your crisp pictures of the hardware are fantastic.

              Regards,
              Rudy

                  very nice

Excellent finish on an early Kriegs award. Congrats on your acquiring this fine badge and the half hearted attempt to remove swaz doesn't take away much at all.

                    Thanks Guys!
All early tombak S&L KM awards are top class in terms of design, finish and overall quality. It's a pity that the company could not maintain such high standards of production later in the war...
                    Cheers,
                    Hubert

                      Hi Hubert,

Gorgeous example, its in such nice minty condition yet has some great patina and character to it. Lovely early badge, congrats on a very nice find. I have a feeling Norm will be after you for this one.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
