    My first KM badge.

A humble minesweeper but i'm very happy with it.
RK marked (with serifs, no periods).
Am i correct this is a type 3.1.3?

    Greets,
    Kris

      Hello Kris,

Looks real nice. Congratulations on your fist Kriegsmarine badge. I'm sure it won't be your last.

      Best regards,

Hardly a "humble Minesweeper" Kris, that is a very nice and desirable tombak badge IMO.

            Congratulations,

            Martin.

It's actually nicer in hand...the detail and beauty of these badges is hard to photgraph but you all know what i mean

                Hi Kris,
Congrats on adding the first KM award to your collection! And I am really happy to see that it is a Minesweeper badge
You are correct, this is type 3.1.3 in the Minsweepers classification system, so called 'Level-3' in tombak, hardest to find of all tombak RK's. I still miss this variant
                Cheers,
                Hubert

I'm a little late to this thread, but wanted to add that I really like this one as well. That scan comes close, but as you say the pictures probably don't give it justice, a common occurrence with all that shine!

                    Congrats, I want one!

@ Andy : i don't think the catch is repaired. It's just bend to the inside.

Minesweepers are very nice! It´s a nice and not so expensive way to collect the different makers, for example.

Agree, Minesweeper has one of the most beautiful KM award designs but try to get all 98 variants (known so far, not counting different finishes and one-offs) and we will see what investment you will end up with
                              Cheers,
