E-boat badge real or fake?

I found this E-boat badge for sale on an auctionsite, I´m not an expert on E-boat badges so I need some help.. I think the letters in the MM is to thick and the mounted part of the hinge don´t looks correct or maybe it´s just a bad picture.. What´s your thoughts about the badge?

Fake for sure. Notice the "saucer"shape scooped reverse, it should be much more shallow and soft. Also the die flaw is missing from the reverse.
The hinge is probably hollow as well.

Yes, an older but high quality copy.

The reverse is the giveaway - many differences compared to an original.
