Hi Andrei,

This one is a monstrous fake.

It's a casting of an R.K. with a Deumer-like reverse setup and an S&L-like pin. Borrowing from three different maker influences!

Although it's terrible, it's also obvious the faker knows about various badge types and is putting considerable effort into his product. Nicely "aged" on the reverse as well. Possibly a "trial piece" as he perfects his dastardly art.

How about four different makers, Norm?

The plates under the catch and hook look like something straight from the Souval storeroom.

Otherwise the obverse looks convincing imo for a fake until you flip it and have a look on the reverse.

Hi Frank,
I have to disagree, the obverse does not look convincing. It is based on RK design but lacks the sharpnes of details and the finish is all wrong for the zincer.
I agree with Norm, this one is bad to the bone.
