I just stumbled upon this E boat badge 1st pattern. Can some one help me to identify this badge as an original or a fake?

Postwar Souval "cutout catch"......this type catch was NEVER used in WW 2 produced badges.....

But it's a nice example of the quality of Souval's output presumably a few decades after the war (although the exact time is unknown).
