Blockade Runner and Minesweeper for your review ...

... these one's just came in - and not being KM focussed, any input would be much appreciated!

And maybe, somebody even is able to decipher the scratchings on the backside of the Minesweeper ... I can't!

    Thanks!

      Hi Kev,

Both fine originals. The Minesweeper is an unmarked Deumer I believe.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

        Hi Kev,

it looks like you have two good zinc badges there.

The Minesweeper is an unmarked Deumer and the Blockade Breaker is a very nice example from AGMuK,Gablonz, great looking badge.

The markings on the reverse of the Minesweeper looks like it is the name of the recipient, and most likely the date on which he received the award on 25-11-1943 ??

Sorry i cannot make out the name.

        Regards,Martin.

          Hi Kev,

I agree with Tom and Martin. Nice badges. I especially like the inscription on the Minesweeper in the old Sütterlin script which I believe says: Sauer Nov 25, 1943. I see no reason to doubt that the inscription is original which in that case, nicely dates this zincer to 1943.

          Best regards,
          ---Norm
