Hi Jan!

Nice badges, I have always liked the construction of the R.S.S. HSF's with that ball hinge, but am trying to limit myself to collecting only tombak/buntmetal pieces these days. I sold most of the zinc pieces I had and only a few remain.

Too bad more HSF's weren't made out of tombak. Of course, then I would be more broke!!

Both are great looking ships,Jan Getting harder to find I would add.

Here are two of mine, docked together. The Fo is leaving my port, however.
A good friend and fellow forum member has laid claim to her. I'll miss her but
I've decided to rid myself of my navy and concentrate on my fist love, Luftwaffe.

Tim ! I also hunting more and more for Tombak / Buntmetall / Aluminium Badges .
But in Panser I have to grab a lot of zinkers . But this to HSF was in good condition so I couldent let them go with out tring to get them .

Yes, limiting oneself to tombak/buntmetal pieces surely limits the collection a bit, but there are pieces like the 2nd pattern E-boat and CCC that only come in zinc and like you said--panzer badges are mostly zinc as well. So, there will always be exceptions.
