      Looks like a good original tombac badge with a very hard life. Catch is replaced for sure and somebody even tried to denazify it.

        It is a good one but in rough shape. Denazified and the catch was crudely repaired. I would say it is worth not more than 50€.

                Hi Jitske, you have some really nice photos, if you are able to tie the badge into one of the sailors in the photos, then you would have a really interesting set and worthy of research. The badge has obviously been worn and has some issues but still a good one. There are a couple of Minesweeper experts who will be able to give you more information.
