Hi Frank,

I'm sorry to say I'm not a fan of this badge. The hardware is wrong. The filing on the margins seen on the reverse, although typical of Juncker, is not typical of Souval's badges.

I think it may be another example of this high-end reproduction attached here with the same anomalies in hinge and pin but combined with a different catch.

How long have you owned it? Can you provide the weight and dimensions and say if the hardware components are magnetic or not?

Here are a couple of typical Souvals for comparison, showing the two of the three varieties of catch. Note the rectangler hinge and long main pin, and look at the way the wire is bent on the pressure foot end of the main pin. Also see the difference in the shape of the round-wire catch.
