Same comment as per the GWL - the finish appears too good to be true. On this example though, I think I can see wear on the high points of the oakleaves UNDER the finish, which makes me think this example has been (re-)plated.

When i see this one and compare it to your other uboot its clearly refinish.
It cant be that two different maker used exaktly the same finish on their badges

I agree with Mike and Andy, original zinc FO u-boat but most likely refinished by the same 'artist' who did it to your GWL u-boat posted before.
