    coastal artillary badge

    Hi,
    Here's one i picked up this week along with some other vet items,a bit of gilt remains and the badge is rather dirty,
    TO CLEAN OR NOT TO CLEAN is the question.

        Nice looking badge, although well worn on the front. I agree with Chay. The badge looks good as is, so don't try to clean it.

          I would disagree with Chay on this one...Tombak KM badges are sometimes great clean objects...and this one certainly looks like one of those objects.
          Just try cleaning it in warm soapy water ...that's what I do with SOME of my badges..not all...it works great.
          Again this is just my opinion.
