              Awesome Jan Arne!

I see you now have two rare Tombak S&L U-boat badges -- post #3 which I call a type 1.1 with the tapered pin and "question mark" round wire catch, and post #5 which is a type 1.3 with the classic S&L stamped sheet metal catch.

And also a beautiful early Tombak Juncker in post #6, a type 1.2.1 with the hand-done cutouts under the sub and the tube hinge setup.

              Best regards,
              ---Norm

                        Hi Jan Arne
The latest "Juncker" you post looks refinished, is it so?
Its not the same finish on the pin as on the badge

                          Hi Guys,

I would agree. It's a good zinc Juncker "type 4.1" but I think the pin has been replaced with an S&L KVK1 pin and the finish touched up (on the reverse anyway). The only question is when and by whom?

You can see from this compilation of zinc Junckers of this type that the usual main pin wears to a silver colour and the tip is not pointed in the same manner as on the "4" marked example.

                          Best regards,
                          ---Norm

                            I got this Badge for 6 - 7 Years ago .
Came from a English Dealer .
                            Pin can have changed .

FO U-Boot Badge with up and down pin .
Not so often seen as the one with horisontal pin .
