    U-boot kriegsabzeichen

Hello, this is my beginning collection of Kriegsmarine badges. After a few bad experiments to buy any nice examples from internet auction - I decided to stop this way. I contacted really trustworthy vintage military shops in Czech republic and Germany and this is the result:

First one is unmarked zinc variant - if somebody have an idea, who is the maker? I will be happy!

The second one is F.C.Zimmermann in very nice condition
and the third one is most known Schwerin Berlin - in good condition.

I really like these badges, I saw very nice examples on this forum and I hope, that my collection will grow up!

P.S.:I am apologize for my english-I know, that is not good enough!

    Boris

      Hi Boris,
I agree with Daniel, very nice trio
First one is zinc Steinhauer & Lück with “Deumer-like” reverse hardware.
      Cheers,

        Hi Boris,

Welcome to KM! Good to read you have persisted with collecting and your research has paid off - I can only agree with Damiel and Hubert that you have a great start with the 3 very nice U-boat badges presented.

        Regards
        Mike

PS: your English is fine - way better than my Czech (which for the record is non-existent)!
        Regards
        Mike

Evaluate the item, not the story and not the seller's reputation!

If you PM/contact me without the courtesy of using your first name, please don't be offended if I politely ignore you!

Could you take a photo of the C.F. Zimmerman with the pin up?

                  Hi again

I said before that it could be a Zimmermann but
It could also be a BH Mayer
                  Here is mine

Hi Andy, as far as I know attribution to Zimmermann was made based on all four swaz arms being cut out as in Boris badge. Yours is attributed to Mayer - since upper swaz arm is uncut.
                      Cheers,
                      Hubrt

Hi, yes - I will do at the weekend - in the working days I returned at home too late and have a bad light.

Hi, Hubert - I agree with you, although I am not an expert, but I checked it in german publication.
Two more photos from yesterdays evening.

                              Boris,

This is in fact considered a C.F. Zimmerman by collectors due to the 4 arms being cut out.

Nice badge as is the Mayer posted by Andy.
