Actually, they are among the easiest artifacts from this period to collect IMO. Of course, it takes time, and in time you will get the hang of it. I would say cloth, caps and some other areas are much more difficult (and expensive).

War badges are pretty much cut and dry these days if posted for opinions. Plus some great reference books out there by Williamson and Weber.

That is the advantage of a forum and it is good we have some very knowledgeable collectors on the KM badge subforum.
