Yes its possible that this badge was a little cleaned or worn. But this badge still l have nice golden finish on wreath and no dents.
Like Chad said the tombac Schwerin badges re rare.

I found out the hard way on these. I was offered one about 3 years ago and passed because I thought the price a bit steep and I'd easily find another. Turns out it was a good price and I haven't run across one since
I agree this one's been scrubbed a bit, but still a desirable badge.
