One usually forgets that the KM had Marines in WWII.

I wonder how many of these badges where have ended up in the garbage as a 'fantasy piece' by uneducated collectors.

Just to clarify, this eagle has nothing to with German Marines (the semper fi type), the eagle belongs to the NSDMB (Nationalsozialisticher Deutscher Marinebund) - ie a Naval Veteran's Association eagle (hence the EK without swas) but worn during the TR period.
