Hi Tiger2Tank,

That's a cast reproduction of the Schickle/Mayer-type U-Boat. For good measure they stamped a fake maker's mark in it as well! Deschler & Sohn never made Kriegsmarine war badges.

Thanks. I had no idea. $25 bucks at a gunshow wasn't too bad I don't think. Pretty good detail I thought. It was mixed in with a bunch of medals and stuff.

The clasp didn't look right, but I just don't know these medals. I did like the detail on the prop and the eagle talons.
