          Great badges Mike
I love this rare hollowback Deumer.
S&L zincer is also occasionally seen with 65 and 100 maker's marks.
          Cheers,
          Hubert

After Torpedo Los was published, this was discussed here and on other forums based on the catalog (see link above) and link of the Hymenn like badge to Deumer established as a possible or probable maker.

And as John covered in that thread, not only does the unmarked tombak U-boat badge match the Deumer catalog image, but also the setup is an exact match to other L/11-marked tombak badges such as the Minesweeper and EK1 Spange.

                Best regards,
                ---Norm

And as mentioned in a previous thread, the only 65-marked version I've seen (from Torpedo Los) has an atypical "italicized" 65, different from K&Q's known EK1 and KVK1 markings, but similar to the spurious 65 found on a 5-feather U-boat. So, pending any further postings, we lack any firm evidence of a wartime 65 stamp in the "S&L-style" U-boat at this time. Indeed, the firm of K&Q isn't implicated in any KM badge production to date.

                  Best regards,
                  ---Norm

Thanks for you comments, just thought I'd post pictures of the hinge and catch setup.

                      Hi Norm,
I just found another example of this unigue 'S&L type' 65 mark. This time on most likely postwar S&L s-boot badge.
                      Cheers,
                      Hubert

Yes indeed, another example of the spurious "65" mark which was applied generously to a variety of genuine and fake badges post-war.

I guess we can now assume these marks came from the same inventor as the fake "MH" S-Boat. This particular example of the "MH" S-boat was previously listed for sale on the website of the infamous late Charlie Snyder.

                          Best regards,
                          ---Norm

I agree, this is not postwar S&L s-boot but another variation of fake MH s-boot, marked 65 on pin instead of MH on the reverse.
                            Cheers,
