Thanks Julio, I also think there is a risk that somebody could mess with the swaz on your badge (partially denazified and restored??). Enclosed is a closeup of the swaz from my HSF.

Militaria Berlin, Do you charge less for the restored badges?? Or better yet, can you weigh in from a dealers point of view, how are they viewed in Germany? Thanks!

Yes, we would charge less for a restored badge. naturally everything depends on what we paid for it and how we got it. Probably around the price of a full denazified badge though.
Actually, its illegal to renazify a badge, although we´ve never had problems I suspect a keen District Attorney could make a good case of it.
Seems to have become quiet a big business nowadays, buy denazified relativly chep, get a swaz. on it as best you can and try and sell it on for a profit.
