    Great Movie--Brest Fortress

Since many of us do not often check the other subforums here, the new Russian movie, Brest Fortress, is on U-tube.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJCUNZbQvjY

It is the complete movie and you can get the English subtitles by clicking on the "CC" tab at the bottom.

A great movie and well worth watching.

          Thanks John for the link
Yet I would like to add that Guderian had to sturm Brest twice - 1st time in 1939 when defended by Polish Army, 2nd time in 1941 when defended by Red Army. Both battles were extremely severe.
          Cheers,
          Hubert

WOW..... That was an awesome movie, just unspeakable hardship......
is the movie available on DVD, I dont care if it is with english subtitles or in english , it is a story worth preserving and greatly done at that......
I would be honored and previleged to have it for the Russian side of the war, there has not been many, at least here in the west to show the hardship of the Soviet people in WWII, excluding the book "WAR OF THE RATS" Which was made into the movie "Enemy at the gates", we do not see much of the German invasion into Russia... and unfortunately "Enemy at the gates" took soooo much away from the book that Vassili Zaitsev wrote about the siege of Stalingrad the movie almost made it "looking at if from the German side of it" calling in a "German xSniper to combat Zaitsev.... the movie did not even come close to what Zaitsev and the Russians had to endure.... just my opinion and hats off to the makers of the "brest fortress"........

Few moments in this film were quite weird (when little boy kills german soldier with MG etc) but still a very good film which I can only recommend..
