Recently there appeared on german e-bay two scarce or rare badges, both "de-nazified" and therefore with low starting price, BUT they both look quite sloppy made and therefore suspect to be fakes.

first is e-boat badge

strangely, they're offered by two persons but the material they're made, the whole appearance and the way they are denazified look quite similar. Since now I thought denazified awards should be relatively "safe", BUT if they started to fake denazified awards (or denazify fake awards, whatever) this should be another step downwards in our hobby .

Please, post any opinions on these two badges as well as about your experiences with denazified badges (and possible fakes among them).

They are both fake. By de-nazifing them he is trying to give them an air of legitamacy. They are junk.

Thanks for confirming that, Don, I was almost 100% sure they're bad, but you never know.

Anyone else has exprience with fake denazified badges?
