Didn't want to add this one in the other (long) thread ; according to my very limited knowledge in the topic, this one's doubtful, so I wanted to know what your learned opinions are.

Copy I'm afraid. There is no evidence that Frank & Reif ever made a U-Boat badge. These are reputed to have come from Floch.
They are quite a close copy of the Schwerin design and the unmarked ones caused a few problems. At least the F&R marked ones are easy to detect.
