    Minesweeper - unmarked: maker ID?

Would appreciate it if the maker of this badge could be identified.

    Thanks in advance,

    John

PS: After reviewing the comprehensive "pinned" thread on identification of these badges produced by my fellow Canadian collector, "Norm F", I see that my badge shown here is a Type 2 (8 waves). However, I am still not sure of the maker...perhaps Meybauer? I seem to always have difficulty with whether a badge is tomback or zinc. JB

      Hi John,

Quite right. A zinc Meybauer, variation 2.2.3 in the classification table.

Here's a thread with more details on these.

      Best regards,
      ---Norm

Yes, Meybauer. These nice Meybauers are finally getting some attention thanks to RichardT, Mark McShane, Bubba, Norm and Martin.

We know a lot more about this maker than ever before IMO.

Agreed, zinc unmarked Meybauer Minesweeper badge.
Round wire catch variant is probably most common but these zincers can also be found with curved wire and flat wire catches (no base plate).
          Cheers,
          Hubert
