Did Uboat personel have/wear squadron/ship identification pins such as a wolf in a circle or like the raging bull symbol?

Yes, the bull symbol was common. I do not have my reference book with me right this second, so not sure about the wolf in a circle. Even if not in a book, it could still have been used. The books are not complete to date.
