second patter E-boats are always zincer. To me the badge looks original, but I am not know these badges very well.

I agree with John.This is a good badge.However,i am not sure if the guilding is original or has been applied later?

That would be my only concern too - especially with the "chipping" of the finish on the lower reverse but pristine gold spill behind the eagle's head.

Its a original badge that has been refinish IMO
The gold finish looks a litte matt/dull
Still a nice badge

Agree, good badge but like repainted wreath
