Hi Luc,
The weight is a bit light compared to other tombak examples however with the hinge/pin replacement the weight doesn't mean all that much in this case. Accurate measurements (normally more useful than weights anyway imo) will be much more useful if you want a more definitive answer.

Sounds like you had a great afternoon and it seems Pieter was at it all day since I got a call from another fellow collector who paid him a visit to authenticate some visors.
