Hi Guys,

I wouldn't jump to conclusions on this one. The "5-feather" unknown-maker U-boat like this occurs in both solid and hollow versions. Possibly a Lüdenscheid maker.

I'm not saying for sure one way or the other, but it could be good, and it would be a good idea to post it on GMIC for Gordon Williamson's opinion.

I had seen the one HB on Weitze's site and figured it was fake based on the post-war Souval style catch, but will watch this discussion closer to learn by it.

I have examined the piece at Helmut´s store, and it looks very believable. The eagle on this one is extremely detailed and incredible looking.
