    Hi
The badges belong to me. I was visiting Jody and asked if he could identify the maker of a few badges. He was unsure of these two and suggested posting here for expert opinions.
I really appreciate all of the comments.
For educational purposes, I purchsed the destroyer in 1972. Allegedly it was taken from a prisoner from the Lorient Pocket (I know by the item not the story).
Again I really appreciate everyone's input.
    Thanks
    Mike Ross

      Hi Mike,
I am so glad you were able to visit Victor and I on Saturday. I am really pleased that you are able to figure out who made these badges (or at least really pin it down).

      You're Friend,
      Jody

        Hi Mike,

Welcome, and many thanks for showing us your Destroyer badge. It's very interesting!

Any chance you could post some closeup digital photos of the catch viewed from the "foot" end of the badge, the hinge-block with the pin up and an end-on view of the badge margins?

What exactly did you mean by you "know from the item and not the story"?

        Best regards,
        ---Norm

          Hi Norm
I don't have a really good digital camera but I will give it a try.
What I meant by "I know by the badge not the story" was a misspelling of buy.
It was reference to the adage so often used here. I was told that the badge came from the Lorient Pocket, and I do believe the guy, but I have no proof, just the sellers word. The story was not the reason I purchased the badge, the badge was. Sorry I stated it so poorly.
          My best
          Mike

For future reference, just adding here a link to an old discussion from 2008 of another zinc example of this Destroyer, already with a suggested link to Juncker at that time.
