U-Boat badge (fake?)

Thanks Darrell, I figured as much. I went into a local fleamarket today and there was a display counter set up with german items such as this at similar prices. I was very suspicious and asked if I could take pictures. The owner wasn't there, but one of the fleamarket workers said okay. I took pics of this and a few others and all turned out to be fakes. I'm going to go there tomorrow and if the guy who owns these is there I plan on letting him know he's a disgrace to the hobby. Thanks for your expertise and help.

Interesting that this obvious fake seems to be a cruder version of the controversial badge discussed in this previous thread, perhaps lending credence to the thought that these are may be all post-war, even the better generated versions?
