      Hi Roman,

as far as I know the Jury is still out on these.
Frank and I both had nearly identical ones that were marked to AS. After some discussion we came to the conclusion that they were fakes.
Yours looks very convincing and the fact that it is unmarked could be a good point. I have seen quiet a lot of these for sale, I think that the collecting world generally rejects them. I personally would also not have one in the collection.
In the end it must be your own decision on these I fear.

        Hi Skip,

Thank you very much for your opinion.
What do you think about this badge?

Of course if Lorenzo is not against.

I think that the both badges look very similar.

          Hi Roman,

as I said, on these its your own personal decision. They do look convincing and Lorenzo obviously likes them. I personally do not.
No 100% answer on these from me I am afraid.

I think that the examples with the broad pins are more favored.

The pin is certainly reminisent of the F&B type pin.

Hi Roman. Different pin, but I like the finish on yours. It looks like the gold has absorbed into the wreath. What is the weight? Mine is zinc and weighs 24.7 grams. There are several reproductions of this type of badge. The one I have is like George's and has all the characteristics of an authentic piece...including zinkpest.

                  Just for the record:

I do like RomanĀ“s badge with simple pin.
I own one like Lorenzo (probably Foerster & Barth)
I think the AS marked ones are fakes.
                  Cheers, Frank
