I thought I'd share it for two reasons: 1) a close-up of the manufacturer nomenclature (great shot of the details of the lettering), and 2) the beauty of the gold finish. As I was explaining to a friend, I don't know the particularities of the structure of most of the Schwerin badges by heart - I judge them by the finish alone. It makes it hard for me, when a badge has no finish. But when you find a minty one, it's much easier.Comment

A very nice lightly worn example.
The fire-gilding is excellent but the grey has been worn on the obverse, reverse (mainly edge) and main pin, hence not one I personally could call "mint".
