    Blockade runner with thin pin

    Hello,

I've this Blockade Runner's badge at home for review.
I think it looks ok but I've not found a photo with that thin pin on another blockade runner's badge yet. It do exist on other KM badges so might it be ok?

It looks like the badge was made to have a pin with the normal rectangle head, since it has that rectangle "ditch".

    Regards, Stefan

Great badge and a fine example too.

Great badge and nicely photographed. Thanks for posting.

The hardware on these is very "AS in triangle"-esque. We know from Pavel's ground finds discussed in the other thread, that Adolf Scholze was likely behind the "AS in triangle" mark, and was a member of A.G.M.u.K., and likely made this CCC found by Pavel.

I find it interesting that the Blockade Breakers are labelled "A.G.M.u.K. 4" -- I wonder if the '4' refers to a particular member of the consortium. And given the classic round-crimped catch with the taper from round wire to the flattened end, you have to wonder if this was Scholze. A very few others used precisely this catch and hardware (MK in triangle being one) so we can't be 100% sure, but it's an interesting discussion.

                  Best regards,
                  ---Norm
