Deumer U-boat ? ?

Hi Guys.

I am trying to learn this.
I think it is a Deumer with cut-out swastika. Correct ? ?
But it looks like the needel has been pointed. Why ? ?

Hi Stengaard,

I agree with your assessment. A zinc Deumer, and I don't know why the pin has been pointed. Perhaps the preference of its owner for ease of sliding the tip through the unifrom loops? Or it may have been a variant of the original setup. S&L, another Luedenscheid maker, sometimes used pointed pins on someexamples of their tombak Destroyer.
