            A great looking example of this type of badge that is attributed to Petz & Lorenz, even down to the "white" basemetal that can be seen where the finish has worn down on the swastika.
            All of the examples of this P&L U-Boat badge that i have seen appear have been made with this "white" basemetal?

              I suppose they existed only in white basemetal. Nevertheless a great example in great condition!

                      U-boat Badge by Petz & Lorenz

                      Hello Frank,
                      I agree with the others, the badge is a Petz and Lorenz. A beautiful and rare badge (I don't use that term a lot)and a top maker to boot. I agree with Martin, I have only seen these examples made of a white base-metal.

                      Really neat!
