Thanks very much for your knowledge on this badge. I was worried at first because I have heard about the bad badges in his book. Any one else want to chime in on this piece.

As I have stated before on this Forum, IMO, all the KM badges in Mike Tucker's book are period. This one is no exception.

I really like the name on the back of this one. The name does not appear on http://www.ubootwaffe.net/crews/crews.cgi however this list of crewmen is far from complete.

Let us know if the deal goes through and you are able to obtain it for your collection.

I was able to seal the deal with the guy and it's now in my possession. Thanks for all the kind words and help on this badge. Kriegsmarine medals are a very new field for me, and from what I learned on here there's alot to know. John. Is there any other web site or list out there where I can research this name. Thanks again every one.
