Auxiliary Cruiser war Badge / AUX

    Hi Everyone,

Can I ask your thoughts on this KM Badge please?
I want to buy it, and need to know if it`s original.

    Description from seller:
    Naval Auxiliary Cruiser War Badge
Tombac, riveted eagle, unmarked, extremely fine. Very good example.

    Thanks for looking.

    Regards from Norway,
    Jørn.

A very fine unmarked example that is attributed to Juncker.
          Nice badge.

          Regards,Martin.

Martin is exceedingly more knowledgeable than I am, but perhaps he or someone could answer my question on this badge.
It sure looks like an unmarked Juncker to my eyes, and very correct from the reverse, but on the obverse why the strange lack of detail in the eagle wing ridges, and also the central scroll at the bottom of the wreath looks different from other examples I've seen. Do these points raise any concerns?

              Best regards,
              ---Norm

Martin, I'd say a combination of picture angles and thicker than usual finish?

I think Darrell is correct. Plus wear. John
