    R.S. 2nd pattern E-boat?

    Hello, I am talking with John at war booty about this badge, what do you guys think, the R in the R.S. is missing, he told me I could post his pics and see what you guys think... thanks for any help.

              Hi I have encountered these before but not with such a strong looking S, on some you can still see under the loop the outline of the R. . All the best

                Wow, Interesting. I am going to throw my hat in the ring for good though. Looking at the reference thread, The "S" looks like it is in the same position as an accepted R.S model.
                I too, haven't seen just a letter missing like that.
                Quite interesting.
                A badge that I would continue to keep.

                    Doesn't appear from what i can see in the photos ,it ever had the R, or even the R was ever removed. Its one for the books id say. I like seeing the wierd stuff like this , more than just another example. Thats what keeps many of us looking....the search for the unusual. I also think this one is worth keeping regardless what opinions are, as to good or bad, its still way cool, and as i said the details are well executed.
