Opinions on Dock Workers pin

I've had this pin for a good 10 years now, bought as part of a collection, all of which were original ( but I guess that dosn't mean anything), looking to raise some cash after buying an expensive group set, So before I add to the e-stand can I obatin some opinions / discussion on it. also an idea on value would be useful. I remember paying a bit for it, has a twisted pin, also dosn't mean its original though. I'm out of touch and haven't seen one in a good while to get an idea of market value.

zoomed it up as larga as possible, but you'll appreciate its only a cm really and the detail is very good at original size.

That's a nice pin you have there. Pretty rare too. I saw one go for $50.00, but iy had all of the finish too. Not much help I know but mainly I wanted to tell you how nice it was. Butch

Thanks for the comments Butch, i've had it alongtime, I paid quite a bit more for it than $50, remember these closer to $150 and that was 7 -8 years ago. Rare pins which were made for U boat Dock workers. Heres another picture that gives some idea of scale. this example is well worn and your correct that finish has worn away.

This pin looks nice.
Can I see a picture of the side. where the pin meets the back of the award backing. Looks to have been re-attached. Would like to see how and the discoloration of the back.
