    Help with KM badges

    HI all,
I was going through my box of "not quite sure" items and thought what better place than here to ask. Both are "zincers" with no MM. Any and all thoughts and opnions are appreciated.

First up Minesweeper with broken catch and a "solid" not wrapped around hinge block with non magnetic flat pin.

          Hi Paul,

difficult with unmarked ones. The minesweeper looks good and I think its OK. The Coastal Art. is one of the type that I personally do not like, I´m not saying its a copy or trying to put it down, its just one that I myself do not like.
Sure you will get some feedback from the others about this as well.

            Dear Paul,

I am of the same opinion as Skip. I have seen a couple of these zinc Minesweepers with that peculiar pin and everytime I thought they were good.

I also dislike this type of KM badges made like your Coastal Artillery badge. What puts me off even more is that it resembles a Wernstein in obverse design but is very roughly cut out in comparison to the Wernstein from the reverse.
            Cheers, Frank

Wernstein CAB to compare obverse design, the eagle´s chest is very characteristic for a Wernstein CAB, that extreme, rough fishskin design is not shared by any other maker of CABs:
