I had this one for many years and I'm now thinking about swaping it.
I'm actualy a helmet collector som my knowledge in this are rather poor.
I have always belived it to be good.
But a second opinion are alway to be on the safe side.

Hi Gulli,

At best all the hardware has been replaced. Worst case, the badge is also a decent casting. Would probably need accurate measurements to be able to determine more.

First series of images not that great for evaluation, too yellow, too dark, too blurry. In any case, hardware replaced, possible period badge but it could be a cast as Mike says. The letters do not look quite right but that could be due to the images.
