    Greg,

Very nice grouping! Any chance you can also post the full-size EKs as well? Maybe all the EKs in the "Crosses" section of the forum? Out of curiousity, I'd like to know if the cores are magnetic or not...

    Thanks,

    Eric

I´ll try to post full pictures of both, minis (they are model 1957) and big EKs. The 2nd class is magnetic non MM, and the 1st class is non MM and non magnetic ligh version (weigh is 14 gr and not 17-18 as usual). I think hardware is cupal. The document for Ek2 is dated in october 1940 and for EK1 in april 1945.

This is a superb example of a pillowcase grouping. The tallies, sometimes removed, have very small dots running along the top and bottom horizontal edges. I always like seeing these dots since it indicates to me that it is a wartime sailor issued tally that he sent home possibly and his family sewed into the pillow.

                  Very interesting. John

Wonderful grouping. Any chance of posting closeups of the docs?

                    congratulations on this acquisition!

An excellent grouping from one sailor.
Gregorio,if you have the time,i would really like to see some close up pictures of the Marine Frontspange.
It is always nice to see one of these "shipmade" pieces that comes with provenance.

                      Regards,Martin.

                        Greg,

You need to post the cross on the cross forum for identification. You have posted this fine group here on KM badges, but now you should break up each part of the group and post it on the correct subforum so those members can comment.
