Second U-Flotilla emblem. This is a victory rune through the upper part of a U-boat.

Can you tell us a little more about it, where it came from, etc. These have all been made post war so any information you can provide might help.

Hi thanks for the help.
Unfortunatly I have no story about it.
I have buy a small collection of uniforms and equipment.
This with others awards come together, I'm not a specialist of these things.

Very difficult to give an answer on originality without any provenance or compare to an identical known original.

Here's my cap emblem. When I lived in San Diego I picked it up at a neighbors estate sale. Of course no way to tell if it was produced 60+ years ago or 6 months ago.
