I am going to say NO. The Schwerin 68 that is crudely stamped is a definite turnoff for this award.
The Rivet doesn't even appear to be a true rivet.
The Schwerin maker mark does exist but it isn't in that location and doesn't have the 68 after it. This is seen in the KM badge Identification portion. Martin W and Larry Lipps have a good example as does the first posting show the Schwerin maker mark. http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=215767
I see that Martin W is on and he is the Aux. Cruiser master!
        Regards,

Actually that's a CE Juncker stamp, not Schwerin, and it is in the usual location for Junckers, but still even to my novice eye a wonky looking badge. Funny looking eagle and weird hardware compared to the Junckers in the reference thread pinned to the top of the forum.
          Best regards,
          ---Norm

This is simply a fake badge badge IMO.The basemetal does not look right.I think it is trying to be tombak badge but has the reverse hardware of a zincer.
It is hard to see the mm but i think it is supposed to be Juncker rather than Schwerin.I think we all agree that there maybe only one or two original Junckers that are maker marked, that we know of.
This is definately not one of them.

            Regards,Martin.

100% Reproduction...incorrect reverse hardware, rivet and obverse eagle. Juncker very rarely if ever stamped this badge as well.
                  Cheers, Steve

                      Aux Cruiser

                      Hello,
I think it may be one of those war badges made in Japan or Asia at the end of WWII. I mean late, late war like around 1985 or so.

                      Regards,
                      Jody

I am allowed to joke because it is my brithday today and I am prettier than most on this forum.

Quality appears to be quite good, but IMO it´s a postwar fake.
