              Steve is correct, both badges are good. I agree that the scratch on the Schwerin Destroyer is interesting.

                I also agree here.Two good original pieces.I have no explanation for the scratch on the reverse of the Schwerin.The JFS is in excellent condition for a zinc badge,with most of it's finish remaining.

                  I agree with the above - two original badges, with the zinc JFS being in better condition than the worn tombak Schwerin.

                  As for the scratch on the reverse of the Schwerin, who knows. It looks like the obverse has been cleaned with steel wool though.
