The photo's are not very good, but from what i see i think this is an original piece by FO with the soldered fittings.I have seen the "+" sign above the maker maker mark on other originals.
Clearer and sharper pictures would be of more help here.

            Regards,Martin.

Would agree with Martin, the obervse has kept its finish remarkably well.

The catch on mine has been replaced. It's my understanding that catches breaking was a fairly common problem with HSF Badges by Fo.
Here's a closer look at my repaired catch.

Hi Thomas thats a good point never noticed the ship concentrated more on the wreath and the hardware. Saying that I have seen this style in shows before same colour of wreath, very smooth with a bronze/ brown type look to it, same F.O style of hardware, but cannot remember if the ship was Tombac looking. I recall checking them out as a respected dealer had a couple for sale and I was surprised at the colour. Had a couple of F.O in my time and both were zinc and pretty close to the one shown by george, maybe this one should be debated more. Possibly a side picture of the wreath, and hinge. etc.

                              Hi!!!

Thanks for all your opinions. I also never saw a tombak HSF by fo. I think here is the flash again the bad boy or it´s a very good fake. On the other side the hardware looks o.k. also the mm. Maybe I can get better pictures.

                              Regards

                              Thomas
