For my own education, what in the manufacturing process creates those fine slightly curved radial ridges that fan across the back, seen on the straight-on reverse view?
I don't see those in any of the photos of other examples in the pinned thread on these badges.

Noticed that as well. Have no answer but here's another one from the files.

Same hinge but no plate under the catch plus the ridges are running in a different direction.

Very nice example of a L/21 Coastal Artillery Badge. Still has its finish, but just faded a bit.

Actually, those tooling marks are not unusual to find on badges. They were probably caused by a surface grinder during the de-burring process.

Imo:

IMO: 125 Euro is a good place to begin as this is on the high end of the market in my opinion.
There was a horde that was just discovered with several F&B Coastal Artillery badges. The price I thought was around $125USD for these if I am not mistaken?

The market price/demand is all in the seller. Some items here have sat on the estand for days and not sold and others that are on the high price range for a common award are scarfed up before the seller posts all images.
