Spout looks different yet eagles look very similiar?

I think it´s not the same type of the badge, just compare the right side of the fountain, it´s plain on the fake and spiked on my badge. I think it´s a good one, just can´t identify the maker because pin system completely missing.

Yes eagle looks similar, perhaps was the design of my badge the model for the fake ?

Hi Alex now that I can see them both in the same thread and compare I would agree not the same award, personally going off the appearance and wear from the front etc it looks good to me and familiar and then I found this thread which has a resemblance to the eagle and other similarites, but are NOT the same award. Possibly as you say stood model for the above .Did I have you worried, all the best

I just discovered this old thread. I believe your seriously manhandled badge without the hardware back in post #24 is what's left of a B. H. Mayer.
