HSF Set w/ Doc

Hi

I just ran into this via the net, medals look normal, Iam just paranoid on docs lately after getting stiffed a couple hundred euros on a scanned s boat badge doc Id feel better if these actually had holes punched into them, thats how paranoid Ive gotten. Any alarm bells I might have missed on the paper here?

The little pencil 3 in the corner I have just noticed makes me feel a little at ease.

Both look OK to me. I compared the doc (and these of course can be dangerous) with one from my records for Blucher and it is the same in all respects.

I agree, the 3 and the smudge at the 7:00 position would make me feel better anyway, but in any case, looks the same to the original document I have in my collection.

Also, since the HSF badge is the early version, this also matches the document which is nice. This is the case with my document and badge also. Same exact HSF version.

Too bad Mike Kenny's study seems lost in the system, but rest assured, your HSF is the one I would expect to go with this document.

Like to see the front also.

I am not that well versed in minis so no comment on that. In fact, I would run a new thread just for it.

Ever since my 1st pattern S boat incident I have avoided anything online concerning Docs. But never having had scored an HSF doc and to this ship I have to go for it.

Thanks for calming my nerves, Iam really shell shocked over that S Boat, it was disguised in an old frame and really fooled me.

I have no problem with the badge either.From the reverse,a nice early example,as mentioned by John.
I have an AC mini with the same reverse set-up as the one posted.
Doc's are not my strong area,maybe one of the guy's in the Paper forum can be of help.

Hi Martin

Iam feeling better with the doc now due to Johns info, I have seen 2 variations of these in the database, one being the eagle is filled in black and one like the eagle shown on my pic. The smudge and the penciled number also put me at ease.

Ive got to stop drinking so much coffee and staring at the screen to look for any alarm bells. Ill never forget getting stiffed on a doc via the net, only time will heal the wound

X freaked me out John, I think it is fine though, it was in the waf data base.

It seems ourdocs are earlier issued.
