              One person's opinion

              Greetings,
This is Just my opinion, There are much better people who are far more qualified to give a more accurate answer to this question. I am simply posting my opinion. I hope that it is wrong because I don't care for it. The port windows below the torpedo tube are poorly formed leaving me to believe that this is not a good badge. I haven't seen this maker before and it is not in the data bank of known makers on this forum.
the eagle with the upper wing and the beak, the examples I have seen do not have this cut out look to them.
Like I said, This is only my opinion. I would wait for others. The back maker mark also would raise suspicion because if it is IMME or otherwise marked. Then it is poorly cast. This would not be the case if this was a Luftwaffe Combined pilot's/observer badge.

These were "German" badges after all, the Germans have always been known for their quality and perfection. This badge to me, does not display that.

              Regards,
              JustinG

To the best of my knowledge, the answer is no, so I have real problems with this badge. A full reverse view would be interesting, but I don't really give this one any chance.

Evaluate the item, not the story and not the seller's reputation!

If you PM/contact me without the courtesy of using your first name, please don't be offended if I politely ignore you!

There are genuine zinc badges with a vertical pin so I would like to see a full shot of the reverse if you can get one. The mark is weak so could well be a duff one added to a good unmarked badge. I wouldn't dismiss it just yet.
